I love to be bored.

My best ideas come when I have nothing to do and nothing on my mind. Being bored is not boring. Being boring is unimaginative.

More about me

I am a fourth-year advertising student at Newhouse at Syracuse University, focusing on social media and graphic design. I am passionate about art, fashion, beauty, and social justice.

I personify organized creativeness. I love using my imagination to bring a client’s vision to life. At the same time, I manage my creativity, recognize deadlines, and work within a client’s parameters. In my graphic design positions, I bring both my creativity and project management skills to all my jobs.

Creating style guides in Illustrator for First Year Players and Strive Consulting taught me the importance of branding. Specific colors and fonts evoke certain feelings in the viewer, and the combination of those elements can be compelling and extraordinary. This is why I went into visual advertising—for the captivating psychology of colors, fonts, and images.

I also enjoy working with different advertising media to be as creative and compelling as possible. My work at Live From Studio B and Good Life Magazine reinforced how stagnant and moving graphics convey additional messages. Using Premier to create motion graphics for the on-air live show taught me how movement leads to feelings of action and comedy on screen. Using Photoshop and Illustrator to create images allows for more exciting and lively graphics.
